This one-day workshop aims to empower participants from the corporate sector, local authorities and voluntary organizations to appreciate the benefits and challenges of the circular economy, i.e. regenerative practices that aim at recovering waste from various processes of the value chain, retain the value and extract further value from this waste and achieve cost reductions. These practices benefit the environment by reducing the amount of waste and pollution discharged in the environment and enhance the resources efficiency of consumption and production activities. The workshop is designed to give participants opportunities to reflect on criteria to design circular economy strategies and business models.
